Link to letter - https://bit.ly/33rWKYJ Hello CFHS Families, This afternoon we were informed of a staff member who tested positive this Sunday who had multiple close contacts with our professional staff last Friday. Due to the number of teachers affected by this covid case, the decision has been made for CFHS to switch to distance learning for this upcoming week. While most teachers are either vaccinated and many have already received their booster, we felt it made sense to reduce the potential of spread out of an abundance of caution. We anticipate being back in person beginning next Monday, December 20th. Students should look on their Google Classroom and calendar for invites to classes for the next four days. We will keep our same rotating schedule for the reminder of the week. Wednesday is an early release day so students will be dismissed at 12:26. We will not have lunches available at the high school on Tuesday but are working to provide meals to students who wish to come by the high school beginning on Wednesday. We will send out a Kinvo with that information. All athletics practices and games will continue. The classrooms, bathrooms, and other spaces used by students and staff will be cleaned before students/staff return in accordance with guidelines from the CDC. We are sorry to have to limit in-person learning but strongly encourage you to encourage your children to attend all of their classes. If you have any questions, our front office will be working in the building to support any specific needs or answer any questions.
