New CFHS Ribbon Cutting

The City of Central Falls and the Central Falls School District proudly celebrated the official ribbon cutting of the new Central Falls High School today, marking a historic milestone for our students, families, staff, and the entire community.

Although students began using the new building earlier this month, today’s ceremony officially marked the opening of this state of the art facility located at 10 Higginson Avenue. This new high school represents not only a new building, but new opportunities, new experiences, and a continued commitment to the future of Central Falls students.

This project has been years in the making. While construction began with the groundbreaking in April 2024, this work truly started long before that with advocates, community members, and fearless leaders who believed in Central Falls and fought to invest in education and in the future of our students. Today’s ribbon cutting represents the result of that vision, advocacy, and commitment to our community.

As we celebrate this new chapter, we also recognize and thank 24 Summer Street, the former Central Falls High School, for the many years it served our community. Generations of students walked those halls, built friendships, learned, grew, and created memories that will always be part of Central Falls history.

Today we turn the page and officially welcome 10 Higginson Avenue as the new home of the Central Falls High School Warriors. While the building is new, the pride, resilience, and spirit of Central Falls remain the same.

This is a historic moment and a great victory for the entire Central Falls community.

Go Warriors. Once a Warrior, always a Warrior.
