On Friday, April 17, Central Falls School District hosted a press conference at Raíces Dual Language Academy, where we introduced Central Falls Promise to our community and shared this exciting opportunity with a group of kindergarten students.
In partnership with Providence Promise, this initiative represents a powerful investment in the future of our youngest learners. Through Central Falls Promise, every kindergarten student in Central Falls is eligible to receive $50 in a College & Career Savings Account, helping to build a strong foundation for their educational journey.
We are grateful to Maria Rivera for her continued leadership and commitment to our students. To help kickstart every child’s journey, Mayor Rivera will match $5 for each Central Falls kindergartener who opens an account, reinforcing the City’s investment in our children’s futures.
This is more than a savings account—it is an investment in the future of our children.
In addition to the initial $50 deposit, families who participate may:
- Earn additional incentives throughout the school year
- Access free resources and workshops
- Receive up to $100 when opening a personal savings account
