We had 14 of our students volunteer this past Saturday morning at our annual Turkey Distribution & Soup for Supper event.....at the Knights of Columbus on Claremont Street, from, 8:30am - 1:00pm, and about 6 of them stayed until 3:30pm to help us clean up, transport and store left over turkeys and fixings.
We gave out 184 turkey baskets, and the students and other volunteers served soup to all families that attended. This event is possible through the Local Food Pantry here in CF and the Central Falls Prevention Coalition, and other sponsors.
