I am honored to work with a myriad of talent and experience here at Veterans Memorial Elementary School. We are here to work with our students and families to provide the best academic experience for our children.
I'm excited to announce that we are now a K-4 elementary school and would like to welcome our kindergarten students, families and staff to our Veterans family! Here at Vets we are Responsible, Respectful, and Safe... But most of all we Caring. Our new K Class is a great addition to our family of energetic students and dedicated staff. Our students have individual gifts, talents and different learning styles, and through Blended-Learning, Corner Stone projects and the American Reading Company curriculum, Vets Elementary provides instruction that meets the needs and goals of the whole child. As a staff, we are also committed to our students’ social emotional well-being and use Restorative Practices along with Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) in our daily interactions.
I'm looking forward to working together to make this school year a successful one! See you all on September 3rd!
