Principals’ Message

Dear Parent or Guardian of a Central Falls High School Student,

High scholastic achievement is a value and it is our goal. We are constantly preserving, improving, and continually adapting our academic program to meet the needs of our students. Our educational program enables our students to make creative strides, and it also enhances their ability to understand and enjoy the many aspects of the world around them.

Beyond academics, our high schools offer a wide variety of co-curricular activities, including three seasons of sports, in addition to many clubs such as Student Council. Our co-curricular activities help the students develop their individual talents and achieve personal goals outside the classroom. We encourage our students to become involved in activities as well as academics.

We ask that students arrive at school by 7:50 a.m. at the latest so that they are on time and ready to learn.  All students arriving before 8:00 a.m. will enter the building through door 2 on Illinois Ave.  Students arriving after 8:00 a.m. will enter the building through the main entrance door and get a late slip from the attendance clerk. The school day ends at 3:00 p.m. and students will be dismissed at that time.

If your child is sick and unable to attend school, please call to inform the office on that morning so that he/she will receive an “excused” absence and send a signed note on the following day, or prior to the absence if it is anticipated.

We want your child to be focused on their school work and we have found that electronic devices can be distracting to student learning. If your child needs to reach you during the school day at any time they can use the phone in the main office to contact you. Please explain to your child that electronic devices should not be visible or utilized during school hours.

Also, we would appreciate your assistance in providing us with your most current address and phone numbers as it is important that we be able to reach you if necessary. You may call the main office at (401) 727-7710 throughout the school year to report these changes.

We look forward to collaborating with you this year as we view parent involvement as a key factor in your child having a successful school year.

Sincerely,

Evelyn Jones
