PM School
What is PM School?
PM School is an accelerated alternative educational program that is offered as one of our Multiple Pathways opportunities in the Central Falls School District. The program is designed to help the school district to better meet the needs of students who are having difficulty adjusting to school in the traditional school day setting and or students who are experiencing significant difficulty on an individual and personal level; which impacts their ability to succeed in the traditional school setting. For these students, barriers have impacted their ability to be successful and have adversely affected all academic progress; often contributing to challenges with behavior. Students in PM School are provided with a variety of options that can lead to graduation and are supported by services; which are offered for both the student and their immediate family. PM School combines a requirement for daily work experience, community service, volunteerism, and internship as one part of a work study component of the student’s academic program and school day. Academic hours and class time comprise the second component.
Highlights of our PM School:
