Connect-Ed Makes Communication Easier
If you had a student enrolled in the Central Falls School district last year, you may have been surprised to receive a phonecall from your child's school telling you about an important meeting or school event. This year Connect-Ed is an important tool to help schools contact parents and guardians.
Connect-Ed is an automated phone system that allows schools to call all students or just a select group. For example, it can be used to tell all parents about a parent teacher conference at the school or report to a parent the same morning when a student has an unexcused absense at the high school.
How will you know you've been contacted by Connect-Ed? You'll receive a phone call from your child's school with important information in English or Spanish and you'll be given a way to contact the school with any questions about the message. The system is designed to help you receive information more easily from the school.
But we need your help too. Make sure your child's emergency contact information is always up to date. That way the school can reach you. We look forward to working with you this year and doing our part to keep you better informed.
